Description

This time, focusing on more of the hashing operations that weren't covered earlier. See attached file, you can search for "hashutil.py" with Ctrl-F if you open in a browser.

Further profiling with Austin did not show this as taking a lot of time, so I do not know if this actually an issue or not.
