Description
Looks like some good bugfixes and features:

It looks like there might be some incompatible changes that we would have to account for.

AFAICS the removal of old-style buildstep support will happen "after 0.9" (see http://docs.buildbot.net/0.8.9/manual/new-style-steps.html), and there don't seem to be any documented incompatible changes in 0.8.9.
