This would result in lost history, including pull requests.  We need
to make sure that all old pull requests on the children of your
(warner's) repo are closed before this happens.

This is the best option if it's possible.

What is the current preferred structure of development?  Should pull
requests be used at all?  Can trac interact with a github pull
request?  I think we should use a URL to a git repo be used so that
bitbucket, and personal git repos can also be used.
