In #tahoe-lafs on Libera.chat: 

08:24 < yash> Also, the current URL (https://tahoe-lafs.org/downloads/tahoe-lafs-1.15.1.tar.bz2) is 
              throwing 404, and we are asking the user to download the source tarball. Where can I find 
              that?

I checked the URL, it's still a 404:

hmm, good question .. I do not know why I added review-needed, but also I believe somewhere we decided to release just "a wheel" and "a tarball" (instead of 3 different versions of the source: zip, .tar.bz2 and .tar.gz)

I don't know where that information is now though. So perhaps this ticket should actually be a follow-up to have only a single kind of source (whether that's .zip, .tar.bz2 or .tar.gz I don't really have an opinion on, but the last two releases were .tar.gz)
