The key I think is to reward participation in some manner. This is
critical, but also I think this participation should be a click to install
on any OS very simply. Failure to make this invisible to end users has
proven to be a major barrier for adoption. I think to 'cross the chasm'
(Moore) projects need to be providing users with better faster and easier
services than they get today.
