That absolutely should _not_ be a problem. We never deliberately break
backwards compatibility like that, and we certainly didn't intend to
cause such incompatibility in the 1.9 release. In fact, I suspect
that's not really what caused the share corruption. If you could send
us the corrupted shares or perform other investigation, I would
appreciate it.

Heh heh... I always have this problem when helping users. Their goal
is to get their thing to work. That's not my goal! My goal is to
figure out why their thing *wasn't* working. If they change things,
such as blowing away state, reinstalling, upgrading, etc. until it
works then they achieve their goal and stymie mine. ;-)
