Howdy folks,

I've created an animated desktop indicator that monitors the gateway
activity via http://localhost/status?t=json

I've got plans to add progressbars to display upload activities and to
monitor /operations if that's possible via Web API (tried using ophandle,
but haven't been able to find the way so far).

The app supports both the old StatusIcon widget (KDE/XFCE etc) and the
newish AppIndicator (Ubuntu Unity). It should automatically use the right
one depending on the desktop you are using.
