[tahoe-dev] plugin architecture for tahoe?

  So, I've been wondering if we should build some sort of plug-in
  mechanism into Tahoe to make it easier to ship non-core features without
  adding to the dependency load of the core system.

My $0.02, unix-centric: dependencies that are provided by packages that
already exist in os/etc. packaging systems don't hurt much unless they
are big.  Things that aren't packaged (or aren't easy to package) hurt a
lot.

wrt. sftp, I'd like to see a fuse (high-level api) client.  but i
haven't the spare time to hack on it.
