OS is a mix of distributions of GNU/Linux (which is really one OS) and
leaves out NetBSD, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, OpenSolaris, not to mention AIX and
HP-UX.

I realize OS version is then a huge bit of work, but I would also say
it's not that important.  You might just have "unreleased / current
stable release / previous stable release" and call it a day.

architecture has some odd content.  '32 bit' is not a cpu architecture,
except to people who only know about intel.  If you mean 'i386' (or
perhaps ia32), say that.  There's also ia64, seldom found, and 'amd64'
(== x86_64).  There's a good list at

What I'd find interesting is

  what kinds of grids people have

  what encodings they are using

  how they are dealing with lease expiration

  whether the grids are single-admin or shared

  if shared, how they manage leeching/sharing

  their overall happiness


i haven't gotten to the point where tahoe is useful to me; it's just fun
to try out and i hope it will be useful later.
