[tahoe-dev] Zooko got a job (and v1.5 is still coming soon)

Folks:

I got a job!  This is good because my family needs money to survive.
But it could be bad from some people's perspective because now I won't
be able to hack on Tahoe-LAFS during business hours of weekdays.  This
job is a 60-day contract, so if you are interested in hiring me, I'll
be available at the end of August.

We're going to release Tahoe-LAFS v1.5 real soon now!  It may not
actually be released in June, 2009, because of a few unsolved issues
like #708 and #738.  Also it would be nice if Ruben's Fedora box and
Shawn's Jaunty amd64 box didn't randomly segfault during the buildbot
test.  More on that in a separate letter.  Brian is about to leave
town and go vacationing or gallavanting or questing or something for a
few weeks, and it would be really good to release v1.5 while he is
still around to help, so I hope to release it within a couple of days.

I'll be closing tickets or removing them from the v1.5. Milestone
(http://allmydata.org/trac/tahoe/milestone/1.5.0 ).  Please help out
by testing the current trunk, fixing your buildbots or contributing
new ones, adding comments to important patches in the Milestone, etc.!
